Ferrara takes more than 20 years of experience designing and manufacturing engineering marble with european techniques and materials that provide superior qualities than those of conventional marble.
We strongly believe in taking our ways to conceive space, building and using it, straight to the limit, while incorporating new techniques and materials that bring us to a new sensivity to understand our relation with the closest environment.
What is engineering marble
Ferrara´s engineering marble is a decorative material which formula is based on stony elements with carefuly controled granulometry, added to the highest quality resines, binders and additives that provide higher impact and flexion resistance than conventional marble.
Our manufacturing process includes vibration, kneading and densification which is why our finished product has nearly zero porosity preventing it from getting stained by liquids or other types of contaminants.
This is an eco-friendly product, for up to 70% of its components come from byproducts of the marble and mining industry.
The low porosity of the material prevents staining.
Its composition gives it greater strength and durability.
Any impurities are removed with ease.
It can be used both indoors and outdoors.
